Chesapeake Health Care continues to expand access to high-quality medical services across Maryland's Lower Eastern Shore.
SALISBURY, Md. - Marylandian -- Chesapeake Health Care is pleased to announce that Ryan D. Blevins, DO, MBA has joined its Adult Medicine team and is now seeing patients at Chesapeake Health Care's Adult Medicine practice on Woodbrooke Drive in Salisbury.
Dr. Blevins brings a diverse background in medicine, nursing, medical education, and military service. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee, and completed a Master of Business Administration at Lincoln Memorial University. Prior to his medical education, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania.
Before joining Chesapeake Health Care, Dr. Blevins completed his Family Medicine Residency at Reading Hospital, part of Tower Health, in West Reading, Pennsylvania, where he cared for patients across a broad range of healthcare needs while further developing his expertise in comprehensive primary care. He also serves as adjunct faculty in the Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment Department at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.

As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Blevins believes in treating the whole person and building strong relationships with patients to support their long-term health and wellness.
"I believe quality healthcare begins with listening to and understanding each patient's unique needs and concerns," said Ryan D. Blevins, DO, MBA. "My goal is to work collaboratively with patients, providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports their physical health while also recognizing the many factors that contribute to overall wellness."
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Blevins served as a registered nurse in the United States Navy Nurse Corps and later worked in neonatal intensive care and emergency medicine settings. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to service, education, and community engagement.
