NORCROSS, Ga. - Marylandian -- Expertise in performance excellence and process improvement is needed more than ever in an era of constant industry challenges and upheavals.

If you are one of those experts, your ideas and innovations could be on display at the IISE Annual Conference & Expo, May 22-25, 2027, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Abstracts are being accepted to serve as a presenter at the conference, which gathers professionals and researchers from myriad fields alongside future engineers from major universities, all focused on the many aspects of problem-solving.

Sessions are available in 21 different tracks representing multiple industries and topics, including healthcare, ergonomics, supply chain, Lean and Six Sigma, management and operational excellence. Advanced technology and its effect on processes are a key subject in nearly all areas of process engineering.

"We think that it's really important for industrial engineers to lead the change in organizations with AI, and you have to start with yourself," Amy Sartain, co-founder of industrialengineer.ai, said in a Problem Solved: The IISE Podcast episode.

In addition to hundreds of presentations, the conference includes keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, facility tours, networking events, competitions and an exhibit hall displaying innovative goods and services.

Conference registration is underway with reduced rates offered through March 1. Teams of four or five or more from the same organization can earn additional savings. Attendees also can book their room at the historic Galt House, site of all conference proceedings.
