~ The Maryland Horse Industry Board will be holding a meeting on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 10 A.M. via teleconference. Originally scheduled to take place in-person at Ocean Downs, the decision was made to move the meeting to a virtual format due to the extreme heat experienced this summer.

The meeting will cover a range of topics including updates on Horse Board initiatives, reports from stable inspectors, and discussions from board members. Additionally, there will be a debriefing from the August 8 MD Horse Forum and a presentation on plans for the upcoming ninth Horse Land exhibition at the MD State Fair.
