More than 4,000 consumers interacted with the app and 26 people completed the entire trail which spans from Kent County to Washington County. Of those 26 participants, 15 also completed all of the associated State Park trails. Originally created to encourage consumers to visit on-farm dairies and support local farmers, this addition of hiking trails allows participants to discover nearby state parks that are perfect for hiking and biking.

Although the official 2025 Ice Cream Trail season has come to an end, there are still plenty of opportunities for ice cream lovers to indulge in their favorite treat. The Let's Rallie app features 14 locations where consumers can enjoy delicious ice cream, including Prigel Family Creamery in Baltimore County, Deliteful Dairy in Washington County, and South Mountain Creamery in Frederick County. It is important to check the hours of operation before visiting, although most locations are now open year-round.

The Ice Cream Trail has been a huge success in promoting local farms and providing a fun and tasty experience for consumers. The Maryland Department of Agriculture and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources are proud to have partnered together to make this event possible. As the 2025 season comes to a close, they look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
