SALISBURY, Md. - Marylandian -- Chesapeake Health Care is pleased to announce that Julia Scheu, LMSW has joined its Behavioral Health team as a Mental Health Therapist. In this role, she will provide compassionate, patient-centered mental health services, helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve improved emotional well-being.
Julia Scheu brings a strong foundation in clinical social work, behavioral health, and care coordination. She earned her Master of Social Work from Salisbury University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Salisbury University.
Prior to joining Chesapeake Health Care, Scheu gained valuable experience through her clinical internship at The Personal Wellness Center. She also served as a Care Coordination Specialist with TidalHealth Population Health, helping patients overcome barriers to care through comprehensive assessments and community resource referrals.
"I believe meaningful change begins with understanding each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals," said Julia Scheu, LMSW. "My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey."
