FREDERICK, Md. - Marylandian -- The Basketball League (TBL) and the Frederick Flying Cows are excited to announce that Frederick, Maryland, will host the 2025 TBL All-Star Game on April 19, 2025. This landmark event will feature top players and coaches, with festivities starting April 18. The All-Stars will compete against the Flying Cows, showcasing Frederick's vibrant basketball community. TBL CEO Evelyn Magley and Flying Cows General Manager Chris Jenkins expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its potential to boost local tourism and celebrate the city. The Frederick Flying Cows are a TBL professional basketball team based in Frederick, Maryland. The Flying Cows debuted on March 2, 2024, at The Hood College Athletic Center against the Reading Rebels with a thrilling 113-112 come-from-behind victory, showcasing the electrifying plays and the passionate fan base that would define the franchise in their inaugural season. Immediately proving themselves as a top team, the Cows placed first in the eight-team Atlantic Northeast division and finished their season with a final record of 20-6.
The Frederick Flying Cows seek to become a part of the fabric of the community and a team that will make the people of Frederick proud! The team is dedicated to providing fun, affordable entertainment for all Frederick citizens.
