MOUNT DORA, Fla. - Marylandian -- The 11th annual Mount Dora Blueberry Festival is scheduled for April 26 & 27, 2025 in Donnelly Park and the local blueberries are sweet, ripe and ready.

Event Coordinator Janet Gamache says, "We highlight local farms, so the weather is crucial to the timing of the event. If conditions aren't right, the local berries might not be ready in time for our annual festival." This year the berries are perfectly ripe, and blueberry farms that will be selling their berries at the event like Amber Brooke and Far Reach are already offering U-pick at their farms.

Food vendors will offer special inspired treats like blueberry BBQ with blueberry salsa, and blueberry mochi. Blueberry beer and wine will also be available.
