BALTIMORE - Marylandian -- Interview by Jithendra Jithu.
Jithu: Can you please introduce yourself?
Hurst: My name is Christian Hurst. I grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We weren't a family of means. I've actually always been grateful for that. Jithu: When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
Hurst: I've been writing since I was 11—and I'm pretty sure I've been storytelling since birth. Whether it was adventures with stuffed animals, action figures, or acting out ridiculous scenarios with my siblings and friends, stories have always been there. Later, I wrote comics, poetry, video games, plays—you name it.
