Editorial Freelancers Association Exhibits at Medical Writers Conference
BALTIMORE - Marylandian -- The Editorial Freelancers Association will be exhibiting once again at the American Medical Writers Association Conference (AMWA) October 25–28 in Baltimore, Maryland. This year's conference will feature education sessions, roundtable discussions, and workshops, with professional focus areas including regulatory writing, grantsmanship, scientific publications, and freelancing. Plenary session speakers are 2023 McGovern Award Co-Winners Dr. Andrea Love and Dr. Jessica Steier, 2023 Alvarez Award Winner Dr. Katelyn Jetelina, and 2023 Swanberg Award Winner Dr. Joan Affleck. AMWA 2023 will be held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel.
Founded in 1970, the Editorial Freelancers Association is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators and others who work in publishing, communications, and related fields.
The EFA has been featured in the AMWA blog and has garnered praise from publishing pros like Jane Friedman and Louise Harnby.
