BALTIMORE - Marylandian -- In commemoration of Veterans' Day, BEYA Stars & Stripes is hosting a special event in the STEM City USA Tribute Hall to honor the heroic service and sacrifice of veterans, featuring a tribute to the esteemed Centennial Seven and an interview with Admiral Michael Mullen, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The event is scheduled for Friday, November 10, at 12:00 PM EST.

The Tribute Hall, renowned for honoring those who have made significant contributions to the nation, will pay homage to the Centennial Seven, the only African Americans to command a submarine during the 20th century. This commemoration seeks to honor not only their specific acts of heroism but also the spirit of bravery that epitomizes all who have served in the military.
