FREDERICK, Md. - Marylandian -- ADAMSTOWN, MD — Summer travel planning is underway — and for the thousands of families, wedding parties, corporate retreats, and reunion groups across the Mid-Atlantic region searching for a destination that works for everyone, the Wizard's Escape Collection is emerging as the answer.
Located in Frederick County, Maryland — just 50 miles from Washington, D.C. and 40 miles from Baltimore — the collection's three immersive, wizard-themed Airbnb properties are now accepting bookings for the summer season. With peak weekends historically booking months in advance, travel planners are encouraged to secure dates early.
Coordinating a group trip is one of travel's most persistent challenges: finding accommodations large enough for everyone, then separately researching, booking, and budgeting for activities that appeal to multiple generations, interests, and age groups.
The Wizard's Escape Collection eliminates that friction entirely. Each property is purpose-built for large groups, with escape rooms, scavenger hunts, game zones, banquet halls, and immersive themed environments integrated directly into the home. Guests arrive to a complete experience — nothing additional to plan, book, or coordinate.
