ANNAPOLIS, MD ~ Annapolis, MD - The State Soil Conservation Committee will be holding a meeting on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Caroline Soil Conservation District Office. The meeting will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and is open to the public. The focus of the meeting will be on soil conservation and water quality programs.
Established in 1938, the State Soil Conservation Committee plays a crucial role in coordinating the activities of Maryland's 24 soil conservation districts. In addition, they also provide advice to the Secretary of Agriculture on matters related to soil and water conservation.
