A fresh, bookish take on life's ups and downs, now streaming on the MahoganyBooks Podcast Network
NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. - Marylandian -- The MahoganyBooks Podcast Network, the audio storytelling arm of the nationally acclaimed Black-owned bookstore, is adding its newest podcast, "...But Make It Books," hosted by writer, creative, and literary enthusiast Niccara Campbell. The show expands the Network's mission to amplify Black voices, nurture community, and spark dialogue—all through the transformative power of literature.
"...But Make It Books" invites listeners into a safe, soulful space where life's biggest topics—love, ambition, mental health, plants (yes, plants!) and more—are filtered through a deeply literary lens. Each episode blends meaningful book recommendations with reflective musings and candid conversations, creating space for listeners to connect, heal, and grow—bookishly.
"Books have always been my sanctuary and my catalyst for change," says podcast host Niccara Campbell. "Now, with '...But Make It Books' joining the MahoganyBooks Podcast Network, we're creating something truly special—a space where literature becomes our collective healing journey. Together, we're not just talking about books; we're building a community where stories transform lives, one page and one conversation at a time. Baltimore's bookish energy meets literary excellence, and I couldn't be more thrilled for this new chapter."
