CHW Structural Care & Certification Prep Program Opens August 4
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - Marylandian -- Capitol Heights, MD — Wholistic Vibes Wellness LLC™ (WVW) today announced Cohort 1 of WVW Academy™'s CHW Structural Care & Certification Prep Program, launching August 4, 2026. WVW Academy is accredited by the Maryland Department of Health (MDH #034-2026-G, valid April 2026–April 2029) as a Community Health Worker Certification Training Program.
Built on Structural Care, Not Wellness Optics
WVW Academy was designed around a single premise: Community Health Workers carry the structural weight of public health systems, and their training should reflect that reality with rigor, safety, and dignity — not surface-level wellness language. Cohort 1 was developed with neuroinclusive design as a foundational principle, ensuring Black and neurodivergent CHW trainees are trained in environments built to support how they actually think, process, and learn.
Cohort 1 Structure
→ Two tracks available: Morning and Evening, each capped at 25 seats to preserve instructional quality and accommodate caregiving and work schedules.

→ $250 non-refundable deposit required to confirm enrollment by July 1, 2026.
→ Flexible payment plan options are available now to reduce financial barriers while WVW Academy pursues WIOA and ETPL eligibility, which will allow future cohorts to be funded through state workforce development systems.
Led by an Accredited, Multi-Credentialed Instructor
Cohort 1 is led by Tiana Jones, Founder & CEO of Wholistic Vibes Wellness LLC™ and Director of WVW Academy™. Jones recently completed Adult Mental Health First Aid Instructor Training through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing (June 2026), adding to a credential base built specifically around CHW workforce training and research integrity, including:
→ Certified Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor — National Council for Mental Wellbeing, 2026
→ CHW Supervisor Training, Certificate of Completion — Iowa Chronic Care Consortium / HealthTeamWorks, 2026
→ CITI Program Certifications in Human Subjects Research (Social & Behavioral) and Responsible Conduct of Research — Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative

→ WVW Academy™ is accredited by the Maryland Department of Health as a CHW Certification Training Program (MDH #034-2026-G)
This credential base reflects WVW's broader standard: every program WVW Academy delivers is led by trained, accredited practitioners — not generalists — because the people training Community Health Workers should be held to the same rigor CHWs themselves are asked to meet.
