8to18 Media and SchoolCNXT form CNXT Digital, Providing Tools for Inclusive Family Engagement and Extracurricular Administration.
LOMBARD, Ill. - Marylandian -- CNXT Digital announced its launch through the union of family engagement platform, SchoolCNXT and extracurricular management software provider 8to18 Media. The newly formed CNXT Digital is set to enable every student to realize their potential both in and outside the classroom. Built specifically to support the needs of the "whole student", CNXT Digital equips educators and families with an inclusive ecosystem of engagement, management, and communication solutions in K-12 schools.
"School, family and community partnerships are central to sustaining environments and diverse opportunities that engage and support the "whole student". As the education journey and roles evolve through lower, middle and high school, we believe that an inclusive ecosystem of communication, engagement and management tools are essential for Schools, Families and Students. The union of SchoolCNXT and 8to18 technology improves our existing solutions, and provides the ability for the elements of student life and family engagement to work together for a greater impact."

CNXT Digital adopts an equity-forward and data driven approach to build upon the tools in 8to18 extracurricular management and SchoolCNXT family engagement software, resulting in the only inclusive, "whole student" solution for educators and families.
"Active family engagement strongly predicts student success. SchoolCNXT builds respectful, cooperative relationships among parents, families, teachers, and school administrators, which helps empower family members to contribute to their child's education and connect with their school, " says Paul Caliandro, SchoolCNXT CEO. "Now as CNXT Digital, we can bring extracurriculars into the fold, while supporting and engaging all families through SchoolCNXT's cutting edge, mobile solutions. The result: families are more engaged in their child's educational journey and student life, and more students are realizing their full potential ."
Through the delivery of a comprehensive software-as-a-service (SaaS) administration and engagement
platform, CNXT Digital is disrupting the highly fragmented, $35B+ youth sports and activities, and school
communication markets.
"Extracurricular opportunities are critical to the overall growth and educational experience for students.
Beyond the games, scores and school spirit, we remain deeply committed to the benefits and safeguards for students who participate in extracurriculars, and to the professionals committed to these programs," said Kim Johnson, General Manager 8to18. "This combination will significantly enhance our integrated mobile communication and engagement solution for athletics and activities departments."
