Wyomissing, September 9^th, 2024 – Come see coin-operated arcade gaming legends attempt to break world records on some of their best game titles. Featured games this year will include Frogger, Mappy, Superman, and Vs. Super Mario Bros. Arcade gamers including Donald Hayes, Pat Laffaye, and Bryan Wagner will be competing in World Record Weekend. This year, one of the best Initial D version 3 players in the world, Greg Chong, will be attempting track records on this popular title.

Vendors and vintage console gaming stations will be available in the common area of the Berkshire Mall as part of our World Record Weekend event. The event will feature various classic arcade culture personalities and festivities including prizes and giveaways. The general public is encouraged to attend. As always, a great selection of classic and rare coin operated arcade titles will be available for public play.

Challenge Arcade Presents a Major News Announcement for World Record Weekend 2024!

There will be a studio produced, feature length documentary shot on location at Challenge Arcade. This documentary will follow World Record Weekend 2024 before, during, and after the event. It will feature coin-operated video game competition history, Challenge Arcade's behind-the-scenes preparation, and comprehensive coverage of the competition aspect of World Record Weekend 2024.
