BALTIMORE - Marylandian -- Career Communications Group (CCG) and Raytheon Technologies are building upon their current partnership and bolstering efforts to attract, develop, and retain a more diverse pipeline of STEM professionals within the aerospace and defense industry.
As part of the expanded agreement, Raytheon Technologies will become a presenting sponsor for several global industry events and programs that promote significant achievement amongst STEM professionals in underrepresented communities. The company will also have access to CCG's technology and engineering network to build new relationships with industry organizations and fill job openings with diverse talent.
"Diversity in the workforce, particularly within the technology sector, sparks great innovation, drives revenue and accelerates economic growth," said Tyrone Taborn, CEO of Career Communications Group. "Continuing to partner with companies like Raytheon Technologies, which has a vast network of bright technology and engineering leaders, is helping to bridge the STEM workforce gap that is prevalent within communities of color."
CCG's flagship programs and events include STEM City USA Metaverse platform, the Women of Color (WOC) STEM conference, the Black Engineer of the Year (BEYA) awards, the Stars and Stripes conference and the BEYA Pre-College and WOC Pre-College programs. CCG's retention, recruiting and employee recognition events and programs attract participation from thousands of engineering and technology professionals across leading technical industries.
