Prince George's County Writers' Community spotlights the May 1–4, 2026 retreat hosted by Deliah "Dee" Lawrence and Cherrie Woods, offering authors three days of inspiration, restoration, and creative renewal on the Chesapeake Bay.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - Marylandian -- The Prince George's County Writers' Community is pleased to spotlight an enriching opportunity for authors, poets, and storytellers across the region: "Beyond the Book: An Author's Retreat," taking place May 1–4, 2026 on the serene Chesapeake Bay in North Beach, Maryland.
Curated by Deliah ("Dee") Lawrence, lawyer, award‑winning romantic‑suspense author, and long‑time literary educator, the retreat invites writers to step beyond their manuscripts and immerse themselves in three days of inspiration, restoration, and creative renewal. With limited space available, the program is designed to nurture both the craft and the spirit of writing.

Deliah Lawrence Deliah Lawrence is a lawyer and award‑winning romantic‑suspense author. She combines her legal expertise with her creative spirit to help authors protect their work, build strong foundations, and grow with confidence. Her workshops are known for blending practical guidance with empowering, real‑world insight.
Cherrie Woods Cherrie Woods is a PR professional, book publicist, and author with more than 20 years of experience.
