Baltimore Fashion Week 2026 returns with upgraded runways, workforce programs, and immersive fashion events in Baltimore.
BALTIMORE - Marylandian -- After a full organizational hiatus, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation is set to relaunch its flagship fundraiser, Baltimore Fashion Week (BFW), with renewed energy and purpose. The 18th season will take place August 10–14, 2026, marking a powerful comeback after a year dedicated to strategic redevelopment.
During the hiatus, the Foundation reimagined its programs, fundraisers, and event production processes. Baltimore Fashion Week long recognized as the glue holding the Foundation's initiatives together received focused attention to enhance both its administrative structure and on-the-ground experience. New strategies, expanded creative vision, and intentional planning will define the event's return.

For 17 seasons, donors, sponsors, and fashion lovers have supported BFW, including the pandemic. The redesigned 18th season builds on that legacy, offering expanded workforce development initiatives woven into the event; upgraded runway opportunities for designers and models; carefully curated guest experiences like the "Lunch/Dinner With Series"; and immersive, experiential activations to engage audiences like never before.
"When the idea of a hiatus was first suggested, I cringed," says Sharan Nixon, Founder and Executive Producer. "Then I heard a soft whisper: 'Although you don't like it, this is a move you need—don't dismiss it.' I listened, and here we are. I have never been prouder."
