Timonium trainer and women's fitness specialist earns national recognition from IDEA Health & Fitness Association
TIMONIUM, Md. - Marylandian -- Stephen Holt, Timonium personal trainer and owner of 29 Again Custom Fitness, has been named one of three finalists for the prestigious IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year Award. This honor recognizes Holt's exceptional leadership and his unwavering commitment to helping clients achieve their fitness goals, particularly women over 50 with joint aches. His approach to fitness has had a positive impact on clients' physical and mental well-being.
The IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year Award honors a certified personal trainer who works with clients one-on-one for at least 15 hours per week, showcasing exceptional business management, leadership, and instructional skills that inspire and motivate clients toward greater personal growth and fitness. As one of only three finalists, Holt's recognition highlights his profound impact in the fitness community. The award is considered one of the most respected honors in the industry and reflects a trainer's ability to create real, lasting change in the lives of their clients.

"I'm incredibly honored to be named a finalist for the IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year award," said Stephen Holt. "It's a testament to the dedication of my clients and the incredible results we've achieved together. Being able to help women over 50 regain strength, confidence, and mobility is what drives me every day. This recognition reinforces my commitment to providing fitness solutions that work for real people, especially those with joint pain, and I'm excited to continue empowering more women to feel their best."
IDEA, the world's largest organization of fitness professionals, selects finalists based on their ability to not only guide clients to better health but also for their impact on the fitness industry at large. Holt's innovative approach, which combines strength training and nutrition coaching for women dealing with joint pain, has been praised for its effectiveness and personalization.
"The old adage is true; it truly is an honor just to be nominated. It would be great, though, to win the IDEA award 23 years after winning the ACE [American Council on Exercise] award and 27 years after the first time I was nominated for the IDEA award. It would make an impressive statement about my lifetime contributions to this industry," says Holt.
