The Wait is Over: Salida Wine Festival Announces Triumphant 2026 Return After Seven-Year Hiatus, Offering Idyllic Afternoon with Colorado Wines, Local Vendors, Live Music, and Food Along the Arkansas River
SALIDA, Colo. - Marylandian -- After a seven-year absence that left a vintage-sized hole in the Heart of the Rockies, the uncorking of a beloved tradition finally returns. Event organizers are thrilled to announce the official reboot of the Salida Wine Festival, returning to the banks of the Arkansas River on June 27, 2026.
Once a staple of the Salida summer calendar, the festival was paused during 2020 and remained dormant—until now. Thanks to a powerhouse partnership between Evergood Adventure Wines and Salida's own Mountain Spirit Winery, the festival is being revived to celebrate Colorado's craft wines and the outdoor spirit of the Salida community.
"Salida has a soul that you can't find anywhere else in Colorado," said Matthew Hexter, founder of Evergood Adventure Wines and co-founder of the successful Palmer Lake Wine Festival. "More than pouring wine, we're restoring a community legacy. Joining forces with Mountain Spirit Winery ensures this destination festival returns better and more delicious than ever."

Known as the "Heart of the Rockies," Salida's iconic Riverside Park is the perfect backdrop for a high-altitude wine festival. Attendees can sip Colorado's best wines, ciders, and meads, enjoy live music and local food, and watch kayakers navigate the famous Salida Whitewater Park.
With the support of the Salida Chamber of Commerce and the City of Salida, the Salida Wine Festival will highlight the town's reputation as a world-class destination for outdoor recreation to visitors from many states, boosting tourism and featuring Salida as an ideal summer getaway.
"We've missed the energy this festival brings to our downtown," said Chanda Reyes of Mountain Spirit Winery. "With Evergood experienced as the organizer of the Palmer Lake Wine Festival, we are excited that the Salida Wine Festival will again be a signature event for Salida."
Early bird tickets and VIP packages for the 2026 Salida Wine Festival are expected to sell out quickly. To purchase tickets or participate as a sponsor or vendor, visit https://evergood.ticketspice.com/2026-salida-wine-festival.
