ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Marylandian -- The Sonic Planet, a listener powered streaming online radio station, today announced it will be a media partner with the 2025 Gamble Rogers Folk Festival.
The 30th annual Gamble Rogers Folk Festival will take place April 11-13 at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds. The festival celebrates American folk music and songwriters, honoring "modern troubadour" Gamble Rogers.
Independent Americana roots radio, the Sonic Planet, plays a mix of musical roots: rock, folk, soul and blues from a diversity of legendary, local and emerging artists.
"The festival has a 30-year history as one of the unique, traditional folk music events in the nation. Our station's mission is clearly in line with the festival's musical roots and world class flavor, while still casual and accessible," noted Sonic Planet's program director Mike Bonts.
The Sonic Planet will work closely with the festival's marketing leadership to help promote and extend the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival's popularity to new audiences and markets.
