She is also recognized as an NACD Directorship Certified® board director, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of governance, accountability, and organizational excellence.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Farmer has successfully led major organizational transformations, accelerated business growth, and driven digital innovation while serving in executive leadership roles with MITRE, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Eastman Chemical.

She earned a Bachelor of Science from Tennessee Technological University, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Ph.D. from George Washington University.

Leadership of the AI NEXTGEN America Futurist Awards
As Chair of the AI NEXTGEN America Futurist Awards Nominations Committee, Dr. Farmer will oversee the integrity, transparency, and excellence of the nomination process for one of the nation's premier recognitions honoring leaders shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.

Working with a distinguished committee composed of previous award recipients, Career Communications Group advisors, alumni leaders, and industry executives, she will provide strategic oversight for every phase of the nomination process, including:
