WASHINGTON - Marylandian -- Amida Technology Solutions, Inc., a DC-based company focused on information security and data management, today announced that Michael D. Lumpkin has agreed to assume the role of President.
As President, Lumpkin will oversee the day-to-day execution of the company's vision and aggressive growth plans. He will be directly responsible for workforce supervision. Additionally, he will support technology development, productization, and help lead marketing and outreach.

Before joining Amida as Chief Growth Officer in May 2021, Lumpkin was Vice President of Human Performance at Leidos, where he managed a 1,300 person workforce across thirty-one data-centric healthcare programs. A retired Navy officer, Lumpkin was Special Envoy and Coordinator of the Global Engagement Center at the Department of State, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations at the Department of Veterans Affairs. He has received over forty awards and citations for superior performance, including two Distinguished Public Service Medals awarded by the Department of Defense during the Obama administration.
