State level equitable choice incentive program for renters and owners launches to offset cost of living increases and 37% rate hike in 2025
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Marylandian -- On February 1st the Maryland Public Service Commission passed a sustainable supply source energy assistance subsidy that renters, home and condo owners, churches and small business qualify to participate in, regardless of income, to counteract the recent 37% Baltimore Gas & Electric rate increase in October, 2025. MDSOLARCREDITS.ORG allows applicants to upload a copy of their utility bill, confirm and generate an approval that provides a Solar Credit Incentive for 300 months off their utility monthly bill.
