Intern Pursuit, an intelligent intern management platform for employers, won a $5,000 grant from the City of Orlando and Orlando's Technology Community Support Program, facilitated by the Orlando Economic Partnership.
ORLANDO, Fla. & NEW YORK - Marylandian -- Intern Pursuit won a grant from the City of Orlando and Orlando's Technology Community Support Program, which is facilitated by the Orlando Economic Partnership. To reach this goal, organizations go through a rigorous application process, where a panel of judges across the technology industry select the recipients based on the fulfillment of specific criteria. Some of the aspects considered were the effectiveness of their marketing strategies, the company's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, amongst others.
Intern Pursuit (IP) was one of the six winners announced on March 5, 2021 on the Orlando Economic Partnership's website. IP was awarded $5,000 to prepare a study on skills-based hiring and skill development. This high impact study will provide the insight needed to align skills-based hiring practices with employers that need faster and better methods of identifying the best candidates for internships. The IP platform provides employers with the most effective learning experience delivering what you need, when you need it.
