DTD's Breaking Poverty Cycles Institute, founded by acclaimed author and poverty expert Dr. Tekemia Dorsey, will provide in-depth, experiential education on implementing holistic poverty solutions.

The first of its kind in the Baltimore/Washington D.C. metro area, DTD's Breaking Poverty Cycles Institute offers a unique approach - arming participants with comprehensive strategies and hands-on applications for breaking down systemic barriers to escaping poverty. "Poverty is a humanity issue that looks different for everyone; however, solutions from a holistic perspective make a difference when viewed through the eyes of leadership," said Dr. Dorsey, who has authored over 100 publications and a 20-book series entitled Breaking the Cycles of Poverty.

The institute's curriculum covers cultural competency, systemic impacts, and evidence-based practices for disrupting generational poverty across diverse populations.
