Roslyn Franken marks 30 years cancer-free with a heartfelt resource for women survivors navigating life after treatment. Her free guide offers tools for healing, confidence, and joy.
TAMPA, Fla. & NEW YORK - Marylandian -- October 17, 2025 marks a powerful milestone for cancer survivor Roslyn Franken: 30 years cancer-free since completing her final chemotherapy treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Diagnosed at 29 with a tumor in her neck pressing on the main artery to her brain, Roslyn endured surgery, nine months of treatment and the emotional upheaval that followed.
Today, she stands as a cancer survivor turned award-winning author, inspirational speaker, and resilience coach—and a four-time winner of the Hernando Sun Readers Choice Gold Award for Best Author—using her journey to uplift others.
Roslyn says, "Survivorship gave me a second chance, not to go back to 'normal,' but to create a new normal rooted in purpose, resilience, health, and joy."

To honor this anniversary, Roslyn is offering a complimentary guide she created for women cancer survivors, especially those navigating life after treatment while balancing professional and family responsibilities. The downloadable guide is designed as a first step to help these survivors move from surviving to thriving, filled with gentle prompts, survivor-aware strategies, and practical tools for reclaiming joy and confidence.
"Healing didn't end when treatment did," Roslyn says. "It was just the beginning. Thriving after cancer takes courage, support, and the right tools and mindset—and that's why I created this guide. I want women to know they're not alone, and that a joyful, empowered life after cancer is possible."
Roslyn's understanding of survivorship is also shaped by her mother, a Holocaust survivor who was given just two years to live at diagnosis but went on to survive for 21. "From my mother, I learned the true meaning of resilience and what thriving beyond cancer really looks like," Roslyn says. "Her strength continues to inspire everything I do."
