ANNAPOLIS, MD (November 5, 2025) ~ Annapolis, MD - The Maryland Department of Agriculture has recently announced the recipients of the Maryland Food and Agricultural Resiliency Mechanism Grant Program (MFARM). This competitive grant program aims to address food insecurity while also supporting local farmers and seafood providers.

Nine non-profit organizations have been awarded grants through MFARM, which allows them to purchase agriculture and seafood products from businesses listed in the Certified Local Farm and Fish Directory. This not only helps those who are food insecure, but also provides a market for Maryland farmers and watermen.
