BALTIMORE - Marylandian -- The Fashion Umbrella Foundation, Inc. has been working hard to enhance its fundraising initiatives to provide a broader attendance experience for supporters of the organization's mission. With the redesign two showcasing platforms were created for the Foundation's longest-running and most attended fundraiser, Baltimore Fashion Week. Baltimore Fashion Week is in August. Baltimore Fashion Week's production home in Baltimore, Maryland.
After the 2021 production season ended for Baltimore Fashion Week, meetings were held, and changes were implemented to introduce two designer-focused platforms to the fundraising arm of the Foundation. The added runway channels developed will capture and display the creativity levels of the varied skill-sets the fashion industry represents. Novice and proficient designers will uphold their footprints in the fashion category of the arts while introducing style-setting fashion trends. Now, designers have two options – The Shows At BFW in August 2022 and the Emerging Designer Platform in May 2023.

The Shows At BFW is an invite-only showcasing platform and will run August 13 - 20, 2022. The runway shows will represent Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter looks to an audience of industry professionals and fashion enthusiasts. The Emerging Designer Platform is a mix of fashion genres. Brands will showcase looks for the three-day event. Registration begins in August 2022. To inquire about this event, email Baltimore Fashion Week at info@baltimore-fashionweek.com.
