ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Marylandian -- Advanced Solutions International (ASI), the provider of iMIS — the world's #1 SaaS solution for associations and non-profits — announced today it sponsored the 2021 NiUG International Discovery Conference. The in-person event was held October 4 – 6 in Arlington, VA; the virtual conference was held Oct. 27 – 29. Learn more about iMIS: www.advsol.com/primis.
ASI is the provider of the iMIS Engagement Management System (EMS)™ that fuses database management and web publishing into a single system to promote operational efficiencies, revenue growth, and continuous performance improvement. Headquartered in Cresco, PA, NiUG International — the iMIS user group — is the largest independent, international user group in the not-for-profit software industry.
The 13th NiUG Discovery Conference was held in person at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, VA, and featured three tracks: Back to Basics, Product, and Technical. It offered 20 educational sessions on analytics/dashboards, building forms, iMIS tips and tricks, data security, process automation, staff portals, business intelligence, and more. The agenda also included pre-conference training, networking events, and an exhibitor showcase. The shortened virtual conference schedule featured the sessions most requested by virtual attendees — so they could glean as much as possible from the topics that were of greatest interest to them.
ASI was the Global Strategic Sponsor of this year's Discovery event. Strategic Sponsors included Data Impact Solutions LLC, Higher Logic, HighRoad Solutions, K2 and You Solutions, and TopClass LMS by WBT Systems.
"We were very excited to offer the Discovery Conference as a hybrid event this year. Members who were able to travel appreciated the opportunity to network with their peers and attend in-person sessions," said Michele Morgan, DES, CMP, NiUG's Executive Director. "But we also provided an engaging virtual meeting where members could take advantage of training and professional education that was most important to their learning initiatives, thereby extending our reach to a broader audience. It was such a successful conference that we may continue using this format as well as introduce new ways to deliver our training offerings in the future. Our mission is to bring iMIS EMS training to as many iMIS users as possible."
