Nearly 200 incentives, with more added daily -- location-based searching, estimated dollar values, able to click to rewards
PASADENA, Md. - Marylandian -- BME, a national wellness and educational charity, has just released a new app and website platform aimed at publicizing incentives and employer perks that are being offered to encourage people to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
An interactive framework allows searching by location, provides estimated dollar values per reward, and lets users click directly to rewarding companies' websites. BME is continuously publicizing companies' rewards on major social media platforms, as well.
Many entities are offering rewards and employee time off, to help incentivize people to get vaccinated. BME works to encourage people to get vaccinated by aggregating all such offers and promotions on its app (on Google Play app store) and vaccinationrewards.org (http://www.vaccinationrewards.org) website.
Vaccination Rewards chairperson, Martin Brooks, a military veteran and senior pastor, said, "As the pandemic continues to take its toll, nothing is more important to me than trying to reach my fellow veterans who have not yet been vaccinated. We want to make sure that people know all the rewards and benefits available to them when they get vaccinated. This resource may help persuade those on the fence to get the shot." BME receives no monetary benefit from this work, provided purely as a public service (created and maintained entirely by volunteers). Promotion will be done through non-monetary media grants.
BME hopes to encourage as many companies as possible to participate in creating vaccination incentives for their employees and the public, with a goal of protecting American citizens from COVID-19.
Craig Kaufman, BME Executive Director. said, "We are already seeing the results of vaccination incentives, from a free Krispy Kreme donut to a $116 million California incentive. Incentives benefit citizens, and also our economy and the general public by boosting vaccine participation. We believe it to be in the interest of even more organizations to provide incentives to employees and the public."
App available at: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vaccinationrewards.vaccination_rewards. Organizations with incentives for their employees or the public are encouraged to contact vaccinationrewards@brightmindenrichment.org to be included on this list.
BME is an innovative community wellness registered non-profit that provides wellness and educational programming, notably for vulnerable populations. BME is an all-volunteer organization. Although volunteer-based, expertise and professionalism define all we do.
