CHICAGO - Marylandian -- The Pulse of Perseverance alongside Gilead is proud to announce the launch of the P3 mobile app, a pioneering platform unveiled at our signature benefit event on May 16, now available on the app store. Designed to transform the landscape of mentorship, the P3 app connects students from underprivileged backgrounds with mentors in underrepresented fields, fostering a supportive community and opening doors to internships and career opportunities.

Amidst the backdrop of systemic barriers that often hinder the academic and professional aspirations of Black children, the P3 app stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity. It not only bridges the gap in resource access but also challenges the status quo by providing a direct funnel to success in advanced fields where youth from socioeconomically disadvantaged areas are vastly underrepresented.

Features of the P3 App:

• Unlocking Opportunities: The app provides a platform for students to discover new career paths, learn from experts in various fields, and gain valuable insights that can shape their futures.
• Representation Matters: Access to mentors who resonate with the unique experiences and challenges faced by underrepresented youth ensures a nurturing environment conducive to success.
• Empowering Mentorship: The app facilitates connections with dedicated mentors who offer personalized guidance and support, enhancing personal growth, representation, and exposure in crucial sectors.

The P3 app is not just a tool but a community. It comprises mentors, mentees, and corporate partners who are integral to the ecosystem. Mentors range from guides offering one-on-one attention to experts providing detailed insights into specific career paths. Mentees, the heart of our app, are ambitious students eager to navigate their academic and professional journeys with the aid of their mentors. Corporate partners contribute by providing internships, career opportunities, and vital resources, helping to mitigate socioeconomic disparities and enrich our mentoring program.
