FREDERICK, Md., July 1, 2024 ~ As of July 1, Service Coordination, Inc. (SCI) has announced the addition of Karl Lowe to its Board of Directors. With a strong background in technology and a passion for improving lives, Karl is expected to bring valuable insights and expertise to the SCI Board.
Karl's career in the non-profit sector began in 2016 when he joined Catholic Relief Services (CRS) as Vice President and Chief Information Officer. In this role, he focused on utilizing technology to enhance operations and donor engagement, aligning with CRS's mission of improving lives. Prior to his time at CRS, Karl spent 18 years at Eaton where he served as Vice President of IT for EMEA and Global Operations Excellence. During his tenure at Eaton, Karl was based in Europe and played a key role in driving Six Sigma for continuous improvement.
Karl's educational background includes a degree in Chemistry from Princeton University and an MBA with Honors from Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Management. He is also an active member of several boards, including the CIO Executive Council which is dedicated to enhancing IT leadership on a global scale.

Expressing his excitement about joining the SCI Board, Karl stated, "I am delighted to be a part of SCI's mission. After years of supporting international communities, I am eager to align with SCI's unwavering commitment to people and families in the region. It perfectly aligns with my values and aspirations of making a difference at a local level." He also looks forward to leveraging his technology experience to drive a successful mission strategy and expand SCI's impact.
John Dumas, President and CEO of SCI, expressed his enthusiasm about Karl joining the Board by saying, "We are thrilled to welcome Karl Lowe as our newest member on the Board of Directors.
