ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 2, 2025) ~ Annapolis, MD - The 22nd annual Maryland's Best Expo is set to take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the Naval Academy Stadium. This event, organized by Maryland's Best - a program within the Maryland Department of Agriculture that connects consumers to local farmers and watermen - aims to bring together producers and buyers from various industries.
Registration for the expo is now open and all interested exhibitors, buyers, and sponsors are encouraged to apply. The event provides a unique opportunity for Maryland farmers, seafood producers, and processors to connect with potential buyers from grocery retailers, restaurants, schools, food distributors, and other venues.
According to Maryland Secretary of Agriculture Kevin Atticks, there has been a growing demand in recent years for producers to have more outlets to reach buyers and learn how to expand their businesses. He expressed excitement about the upcoming expo which will feature free media training, reduced-cost product photography and headshots, as well as mini learning sessions with leading retail grocery buyers such as Whole Foods and Klein's ShopRite.
