MILWAUKEE - Marylandian -- As Wisconsin and the nation face a critical shortage of skilled workers, the Milwaukee Job Corps Center stands as a vital resource for workforce development. Located at 6665 N 60th St, the center is now fully open and actively enrolling new students, ready to guide eligible youth ages 16–24 toward rewarding career pathways.

Operated by Horizons Youth Services for the U.S. Department of Labor, Milwaukee Job Corps offers free, comprehensive career training in high-demand fields such as welding, cement masonry, construction, manufacturing, material handling and distribution operations, medical administration, and certified nurse assistant training. Students also have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma or GED, and benefit from community college partnerships and military career preparation programs.

For over 60 years, Job Corps has helped more than two million youth pave their path to success. The Milwaukee campus continues this legacy, with two residence halls and a capacity for 237 students, fostering a supportive community where young people can thrive both academically and personally.
