LAUREL, Md. - Marylandian -- Blavity.org awarded Lola Pyne, owner of Oasis Soul Scent Co., acceptance into the 2023 Growth Fellowship Program for Black entrepreneurs, small businesses, and creatives. Oasis Soul Scent Co. is a Maryland-based candle and scented goods company whose products are inspired by soulful music. Its offerings include an array of luxurious candles, body scrubs, body oils, sprays, and shower steamers.
The program awarded the 12 selected 2023 Blavity.org fellows with a four-week virtual fellowship that includes:

"Blavity is a leading force in ensuring that Black entrepreneurs receive the resources, knowledge, and support they need to grow and succeed. The CEO Spring Break is an application-only program curated for entrepreneurs to spark moments of relaxed conversation, shared learning experiences, and business relationships. The weekend included a blend of resort-like activities as well as training and workshops.
