ABINGDON, Md., Dec. 3, 2024 ~ Kiddie Academy, a leading educational child care provider, has announced a generous corporate annual giving total of $50,000 for the year 2024 in honor of Giving Tuesday. This includes contributions to their Community Fund, which supports employees in times of need, as well as grants for national and Baltimore-based nonprofits and other philanthropic endeavors.
Casey Miller, executive vice president at Kiddie Academy, expressed the company's commitment to creating brighter futures for children and their employees systemwide through their charitable giving efforts. "We are delighted to support charities that share our values and have a strong impact on the lives of children and their families," Miller stated.
As part of their annual giving, Kiddie Academy will be making a $20,000 donation to Family Promise this month. This brings their total contribution to over $127,000 since partnering with the nonprofit in 2019. The funds will go towards supporting local affiliate locations that work with families experiencing or at risk of homelessness across the country. They will also support case manager training, advocacy efforts, and resource development for affiliates.
