A breathtaking novel of love, survival, and the human spirit—ready for its next chapter
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Marylandian -- DonnaInk Publications, a woman-owned publishing house known for transcendent storytelling and genre-forward innovation, proudly announces the re-release of A Flower Grows: A Holocaust Grey Zone Romance, a hauntingly beautiful historical fiction novel co-authored by Carolyn Kay Doswell and John R. Loretto.
Previously published by DonnaInk Publications, A Flower Grows is now being reenergized for a new generation of readers—and for potential adaptation to screen. Set within the harrowing confines of the Banjica Concentration Camp in former Yugoslavia, the novel explores the fragile resilience of Jewish life during World War II. Through its emotionally rich characters and meticulous historical detail, the story reveals how love and humanity persist even in the darkest corners of history. The cover and packaging are going to be re-engineered as well.
"This is a novel that deserves to be seen, heard, and felt beyond the page," says Donna L. Quesinberry, Founder and President of DonnaInk Publications. "It's breathtaking in its honesty and cinematic in its scope. We're honored to bring it forward again."
