ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Marylandian -- Annapolis, MD – Classic Theatre of Maryland (CTM) is proud to announce its upcoming production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, set to run from February 27 through March 16, 2025. This gripping drama, set during the Salem Witch Trials, delves into the dark side of human nature, exploring the devastating effects of mass hysteria, bigotry, and deceit.
Written in 1953, The Crucible is a timeless exploration of fear and suspicion that resonates as deeply today as it did when it was first performed. Set in 1692, in Salem, Massachusetts, the play follows the chilling events that unfold when the small village is engulfed by accusations of witchcraft, leading to a frenzy of persecution with tragic consequences.
