BALTIMORE - Marylandian -- Career Communications Group (CCG), a leader in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, is thrilled to announce that it has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious 2024 Mayor's Business Recognition Award. Presented by the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) and the Greater Baltimore Committee (GBC), this annual award highlights organizations making significant contributions to Baltimore's growth and prosperity. CCG has been recognized specifically for its impact in the category of Local Investment.
"This is a great honor for our community that has been in Baltimore for 40 years now," said Tyrone Taborn, Founder and CEO of Career Communications Group. "This recognition comes at a pivotal time, as we have brought the Black Engineer of the Year Conference back to Baltimore and launched the STEM City Baltimore AI Metaverse training center within the Thurgood Marshall Amenity Center. Together, these initiatives underscore our commitment to empowering Baltimore's youth and advancing diversity in STEM right here in our home city."
