Hosted by the National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc. - Third Annual African American Cultural Expo and Children's Book Fair to Offer 1,000 Free Books in Waldorf, MD on July 19, 2025
WALDORF, Md. - Marylandian -- The National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc. is excited to host the African American Cultural Expo and Children's Book Festival on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM ET. This event will occur at the Capital Clubhouse Arena, Southern Maryland's premier recreational complex in Waldorf, MD. The expo and festival are free and open to the public.
Attendees can enjoy author book readings, participate in arts and crafts, shop with local vendors, and watch live performances. Each child will receive a gift bag, and the National Black Cultural Information Trust, Inc. will distribute up to 1,000 free children's books, ensuring that every child in attendance leaves with a book.
Culture Queen, a Grammy-nominated children's entertainer, author, and educator, will be the Mistress of Ceremonies. The event will showcase dozens of authors from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC, promising a fun-filled day for the entire family.
