BOWIE, Md. - Marylandian -- Singer-songwriter, Alicia Greene, is set to release her sixth studio album, The Forgotten, in mid-August 2022. It will be her longest and most diverse album yet, with 26 all-new songs. Tracks range in length from 40 seconds to 5 minutes. Various emotions are evoked, with some tunes described as sensual, mysterious, gloomy, heartwarming, and cheerful.
Seven innovative and illusionary piano solos with string instruments are on the album. These are the songs: "The Fallen," "The Gift," "Some Day," "Never Forget," "Frozen In Time," "Let Me Heal," and "I Won't Let You Go." Aside from the piano and string ensembles, the songs "Breathe Again," "Haunted," "Daydream," "Masquerade," "Be My Forever," and "Reminiscent" contain ambient tunes that blend with lo-fi, synthwave, electronic, and acoustic beats. Songs like "Behind The Veil," "Captivated," "Splendid," and "Broken Pieces" are accompanied by an electronic or symphonic orchestra. "Gleeful," "Whimsical," "My Heartbeat," "Reoccurring," "Gothic," and "Not Ordinary" are among six electronic melodies with a downtempo, organic house, or synthwave mix. The album's two standout songs are "At the End of the Day," which features string and brass instruments, and "March at the Parade," which features a full marching band.
