ELDERSBURG, Md. - Marylandian -- C&A Automotive is accepting nominations for their third annual Back on the Road giveaway for local veterans. Last year, over 35 nominations were submitted for South Carroll veterans who continue to serve their local community in many amazing ways.
C&A will select two veterans living in the Eldersburg/Sykesville area who could use a little extra help getting or keeping their vehicle going. Whether it's for travel to work, finding work or transporting their family around.
The selected veterans will each receive up to $2,500 of auto repair or maintenance services at no charge. All work will be done to C&A's high standards with a full 24 month/24,000 mile warranty.
Last year, the awardees included a 77 year old Korean War veteran and a young man who signed up for the Air Force while still in high school and served multiple tours of duty.
You can nominate a veteran on C&A's website through Sunday, November 10th. Selections for the Back on the Road offer will be made on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11th, 2019. The nominator will be contacted and work will begin as soon as it convenient for the nominee.
