OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Marylandian -- HomeCentris Healthcare ("HomeCentris") Maryland's leading provider of home-based health care solutions, today announced it had completed the acquisition of Grace Home Healthcare ("Grace") of northern Virginia. The acquisition was closed in October 2021 and HomeCentris has been working with Grace's staff to integrate the two companies.
Grace, based in Fairfax, Virginia, is a significant provider of non-medical personal care and private duty nursing services to both Medicaid and private pay clients. The company also operates a CHAP-accredited, Medicare-Certified Home Health agency. HomeCentris expects to continue the successful personal care operations and quickly expand the skilled agency's reach. HomeCentris has hired Erica Jackson to lead the agency's personal care operations going forward. Erica has significant experience in healthcare operations, compliance, and business development in Virgina and HomeCentris is excited for her to begin growing the agency.

HomeCentris is Maryland's largest Medicaid home care provider with five offices throughout the state. In addition, HomeCentris has agencies in Philadelphia and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania providing personal care services. The Grace acquisition will allow HomeCentris to expand its geographic reach into Virginia and develop deeper relationships with its regional hospital and managed care partners. HomeCentris welcomes the Grace team and looks forward to integrating them into the HomeCentris family. Together, the company will be a strong player in the mid-Atlantic home care market.
"The combination of HomeCentris and Grace will provide a strong, diversified home care provider in the mid-Atlantic region with agencies in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. With our larger regional presence, we can expand our HomeCentris 360 offering into Northern Virginia. The three-pronged HomeCentris 360 continuum of home care, skilled home health, and mobile primary care has been shown to help keep clients safe at home and out of more expensive, institutional settings.", said Matthew Auman, CEO of HomeCentris. "With this larger footprint and an expansion of Grace's skilled home health service line, we will be able to further help our managed care partners as they shift care to safer, less expensive settings like the home. Grace is a well-run, high quality health care provider and we are very excited about working with them."
