Alums of NCA&TSU's Journalism and Mass Communication Program are releasing Part IV of an online publication that highlights the moments women made conscious decisions to change the course of their lives.
LANHAM, Md. - Marylandian -- Erica Franklin has been tapped to become the first guest editor for "Eve After Eden" by fellow Aggie and "Eve After Eden" Creator Shevaun McGlone. Franklin is the founder of The Global Giver; an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion in sales; and was featured in the publication twice before being offered the role.
"Eve After Eden" is an online publication that profiles women who made conscious decisions to change the course of their lives. The publication is dedicated to sharing the stories of women's lifetimes. Launched in December 2021, "Eve After Eden" began as a six-part article series featuring four unique women. Now in its fourth iteration, "Eve After Eden" has interviewed 15 women across the United States and Ghana.

"It feels great to work with another Aggie, especially on an endeavor like this, one that aligns with my mission of empowering women," said Franklin. "I look forward to joining forces again with Shevaun on this editorial journey that we hope inspires others and gives women an outlet to highlight their stories of success, challenges, failures, comebacks, and experiences. I'm so happy that we reconnected and can impact and motivate others."
McGlone and Franklin attended North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University together. As undergraduates, they were both staff writers who earned positions as editors for the University's newspaper. McGlone became Features Editor in 2005 while Franklin became Editor-and-Chief of the NCAT Register in 2006.
"Erica is a dynamic person with a wealth of personal and professional knowledge on the experiences women face in business, in culture, and in life here and abroad. I'm thrilled to work with her once more," said McGlone.
"Eve After Eden: Part IV" is scheduled for release on Sunday, June 26 only on www.EveAfterEden.com (https://www.EveAfterEden.com).
